Sozo Amour pronounced [So-zo A-moor] is a Naarm (Melbourne) based online curatorial, sourcing archival and designer clothing. We’re not just a shop, blog or resource; we’re a community.

We believe that everyone, no matter what their background, knowledge, or experience deserves a chance to explore their creativity and self-expression through fashion. We aim to break the barrier of 'exclusivity' in the archive designer industry; Therefore, we pride our existence on the foundation of innovation and inclusivity.
EDUCATE & EMPOWER
We are passionate about every product that we source, and love sharing the history behind the products. We aim to educate and empower our customers to provide them with an understanding of the value the items possess, intending to pass on this knowledge onto future generations, as the cycle continues. We aim to empower people to be unapologetically themselves and encourage everyone to unite and explore their style.

Through a profound appreciation, we believe shopping for pre-owned garments creates a more sustainable alternative that is kinder to our planet. Sozo Amour adopts a 4 Rs Principle in everything we do.

RESEARCH
We curate unique collections through global exploration. Procuring our creative vision takes us on journeys to tiny forgotten second hand shops, online entities, every corner of the world and often into people’s homes (and the local car boot sale!).
By culminating significantly historical pieces in extraordinary combinations we inspire humans to see dressing and adornment from an ever changing perspective. Each piece stands alone as an exquisite art work and enhances every outfit and personal collection.

RECLAIM
As we discover each item, we will ‘take back’ and reilluminate our often forgotten and untold stories, we then ensure their origins and compile these adventures into succinct summaries which will accompany each item. We encourage you to reclaim your joy and ‘claim’ pieces that reignite your fire! Your ownership and care of each piece will give it the chance to experience another life.

REUSE
We will provide the perfect tips and tricks on how to care for your items so we can ensure the longevity of the garments are not compromised. This knowledge will be passed onto future generations and in doing so will keep slow fashion alive. By wearing these garments and accessories you are modelling positivity for a sustainable tomorrow.

RECYCLE
We are committed to working greener and smarter; hence our packaging is light weight, kept to a minimum and is sourced from eco-ethical companies. As we grow we will feature select works from artists and designers whose philosophies are steeped in an earth-loving humanitarian approach. We will also introduce carefully considered consignment to give everyone an opportunity to give garments a second life, reduce their eco-anxiety, join our community and continue our journey of reviving pre-loved pieces.
OUR MOTIVATION
Clothing stimulates our senses, reflects our identity and gives a feeling of confidence that goes well beyond utility. Through an appreciation of design and artistry, we aim to educate that pre-loved, high-quality clothing and accessories are forever.
