Product Description
A striking archival piece from Issey Miyake’s Pleats Please collection, these wide-leg trousers reimagine pleated fabric with a layered construction. The lightweight turquoise polyester is permanently pleated using Miyake’s pioneering technique, but here, the fabric is arranged in overlapping panels that add depth and movement within the leg itself. The result is a silhouette that shifts between fluidity and structure, wide and architectural when standing still, then alive with motion as the wearer moves. Excellent vintage condition, please note 1st & 2nd image is over exposed.

About The Brand
Issey Miyake's first collection was launched in New York in 1971. Paris soon followed. From that time, its fundamental design philosophies have focused on the concept of “A Piece of Cloth”, breaking the boundaries between East and West and pursued “the body, the fabric covering it and a comfortable relationship between the two” as a fundamental concept. Creating clothes from original materials starting with the research of a single thread has transcended generations.
